The Tasman District and Nelson City Councils' new external Viewer.
Nelson City and Tasman District Councils have been working together for about a year on developing a new, regional GIS site for regional maps and spatial data. The site is scheduled to go public in December. It is called 'Top of the South Maps' and will be found at www.topofthesouthmaps.co.nz.
The Viewer provides new functionality and ease-of-use for Tasman and Nelson customers and stakeholders, including:
- Faster data deliver
- Intuitive navigation
- Predictive searching
- Google Maps-like design
- New data
GBS is proud to have been involved in this project and we hope that the Viewer provides full value to the Tasman and Nelson communities.
