Who are Vistor Solutions? Visitor Solutions are an Auckland-based niche consultancy specialising in the fields of tourism, outdoor recreation, leisure planning, physical activity and urban planning, development and design. Their Requirement For the Auckland Regional Physical Activity & Sports Strategy (ARPASS) Visitor Solutions were commissioned to complete a series of reports to analyse specifc areas of low physical activity across the Auckland region. Visitor Solutions were challenged to communicate their analysis in the most effective way. How GBS Helped GBS provided cartographic and data management services to Vistor Solutions on the ARPASS project. A selection of Census variables were utilised to provide a base layer of relevant facility planning indicators which were displayed spatially for each identified region. GBS worked with data provided from a series of organisations to provide an overlay of existing leisure assets. A series of high quality maps were produced for use in the final reports. |
