GBS is an authorised ESRI Business Partner.
Our rationale for becoming an ESRI Business Partner is to enable GBS to provide a higher degree of service to our ESRI based clients.
This will be achieved through a closer working relationship with Eagle Technology (the NZ ESRI Distributor) and access to a wealth of ESRI information via the Business Partner Network. This is also a strategic move on our part by providing a further opportunity to strengthen and grow GBS.
GBS is still an independent consultancy and our strategic consulting work is, as always, vendor independent. Being an ESRI Business Partner does not conflict with that aspect of our business. Earlier this year, GBS also attending ESRI's Business Partner Conference and Developer's Summit in Palm Springs. Given that there is a major release in the software this year, it was a great opportunity to be there and see what is happening from the horse's mouth. It was also great to catch up with old friends and colleagues. Watch out for some new developments at the Desktop especially.
